A short introduction

SeavisTours is a fully licensed incoming tour operator, we represent DR-ProTravel (Germany), Hostel Club and TiwaTravel (the Netherlands) in the DR. We can offer oversees travel organisations the full range of incoming services: airport transfers, hotel reservations, general guests services and we operate a full range of excursions ourselves (we are the only incoming agent who does so).

SeavisTours already exists since 1999, but in 2008 we - Marion and Sander Tilanus - took over the agency. We originally come from Holland, but we lived for 12 years in South Africa, organizing Safari Tours. We like adventure and we love nature, beautiful scenery and authentic places. We like to share this with you.

For many years already Seavis provides excursions that differ from the regular trips and tours. Our goal is to provide an alternative to the program of the big operators, for those who want to experience the real Dominican Republic. We go with small groups only; not more then 22 people; and to places where the big operators don’t go. Important for us is individuality, a nice atmosphere and to experience nature and the real dominican culture. With our excursions you can still enjoy the lonely, post card beaches and real places in the country.

It is not recommended to book an excursion on the beach, street, or in gift shops; where the seller doesn’t present a proper office. Only when booking in an office of an authorized tour operator you can be sure to buy a legal excursion with all insurances.
