Explore
Bayahibe's coral reef in our underwater cabin boat. If you like to see the
underwater world but would rather stay dry, this one is for you. The
semi-submarine cruises in shallow water, where most life, light and color are.
Different from a glass bottom boat, you are right down there with the fish
instead of just looking at them from the top. There is more to see and it's
easier to see. You'll be in the perfect depth for reef viewing, you'll sit
just under the water line, gazing out of the panorama windows ( 3/4 inch thick):
The reef appears due to refraction 30% closer and in all its colors. During
the 45 minute ride you'll see Bayahibe's coral reef with all its
marine life and a small wreck.
Cameras are
welcome. Your underwater pictures will turn best if you take them on 400
speed.
The
semi-submarine stays on the surface, but the hull is actually a
comfortable under water cabin. The way to the upper deck is always open. You'll
spend the time in the viewing cabin, but you can also visit the top deck any
time. The spacious cabin can take two adults in comfortable seats, there is
space for an additional child in the cabin. It's easy just descend in the 3 ft
deep cabin ( see photos ) Suitable for all ages, great for families.
